Perhaps two of the most powerful words in the human language. When is the last time you said those words to someone you love? How about someone you do not love?
Everyone likes to be appreciated. Two little words, "thank you", can soften a human heart and show people around you that you care. Somebody once said, "Gratitude is the best attitude." As we discussed this past Sunday, perhaps it is time for an attitude adjustment. The Apostle Paul hits the nail on the head when he clearly expresses how God feels about gratitude-
Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
Paul does not say we are to be thankful for everything, but that we can find something to be thankful for in everything. Every morning as I am taking a shower, there is something that rises up in my heart that causes me to verbally thank God for the new day and another opportunity to bring glory to His name.
How about you? What are you thankful for? Do you have an attitude of gratitude? If you are a member of COTRM or regularly attend COTRM, you may have another reason to be thankful. I will randomly select one person from those who regularly attend COTRM and post something to this blog that they are thankful for. That person will receive a $25 gift certificate this coming Sunday (you must be present Sunday to win). So post away and let God and everyone around you hear you say "thank you" today.
Every day I thank God for His provision. I lead a very lean and simple life, but I have a roof over my head and food on my table solely because of Gods provision in my life. It humbles me to see how He attends to even the small details of my life. I am grateful.

I am ever thankful to a God that never loses enthusiasm for us. I am thankful that no matter what the circumstances, God is forever faithful and just and is working all things out for our good for His glory!

I am thankful that even when I am faithless, He remains faithful!! My heart often condemns me, but God is greater than my heart and always looks throught the filter of His Son's Blood when He looks at me!!! He adores me!! Thank God

I am thankfull for the house the Lord has given me. It really was a divine gift. He gave it to me out of the graciousness of His heart and because of what He can accomplish in it. This is a very sad time. Tons of people are losing their houses. Tons of people are out of work and can no longer afford their homes. And right in the midst of it, God has given me (a person with very little money) this lovely house. Is it a house? Or is it a missions base and discipleship center for the Heinly kids?
