Monte Hancock, Chief Scientist for Celestech, and Program Mentor for the MS in Computer Science for the Webster University Space Coast Region, will be included in the 2012 Edition of Who's Who in America.
Monte joined Celestech, Inc. as Chief Scientist in 2009, after serving as Chief Cognitive Research Scientist, and Technical Fellow at Northrop-Grumman. His professional career spans over 30 years of increasingly responsible positions in software engineering, algorithm development, and mathematical research in machine intelligence, decision support, and pattern processing.
Monte's principal research interest is in numerical and semi-numerical algorithms for decision support applications that are based upon machine intelligence. He has served as Principal Investigator / Technical Lead on many advanced analytic efforts for both government and industry.
Monte is Adjunct Professor of Computer Science, and Space Coast Region Mentor for Webster University's Masters Degree in Computer Science. He has been a curriculum developer for the University of Florida, and has also served for 26 years as Adjunct Instructor in Computer Science at Rollins College.
Mr. Hancock has served on several national review boards (for the National Science Foundation, and for the U.S. Department of Defense), is the author of numerous conference publications, and has authored two books on data mining technology. He has also been listed for multiple years in Who’s Who in the Media and Communication, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, and Who’s Who in the World.
