Sunday Challenge!

This past Sunday I challenged the congregation to take one book of the Bible this week and read and pray through it. I believe reading and meditating on the Bible is very important in deepening our understanding of God and how He works in our lives. Taking time to read God's Word builds faith in our hearts.

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." (John 15:7 NASB95)

Abiding in God's Word gives us access to the unlimited. Meditation is a key to abiding- it is filling our mind with biblical truth. As we meditate on God's Word and hide it in our hearts, it sets us up for encounters with God and unlimited living.

What book of the Bible are you reading this week? If you pick a short book, try reading through it more than once.

Add your comments to the blog and let me know what book you decided to read.
