For A People Yet To Be Created

I was reflecting recently on the words of David in Psalm 102 as He remembers the goodness of God in the middle of great personal adversity ...

"This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the Lord" (Psalm 102:18)

This reminds me of our responsibility as Christian's to look for creative ways to publish and proclaim the greatness and goodness of our God in hopes of influencing future generations.

As Jesus was entering Jerusalem riding on the back of a donkey, the people were crying out and worshipping Him as if He were God. This upset the Pharisees and Jesus responded to them by saying ...

“I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out" (Luke 19:40)!

If the stones can cry out and proclaim the wonders of God, certainly we can as His people as well.

Ask God for creative ways, in the context of His calling on your life, how you can ... publish, proclaim, declare, and communicate ... the greatness and goodness of our God.

  1. Amen! God has given us many ways and many reasons to communicate to others about His greatness. When we see this world of hurting and despair we know the time is now. We can't give what we do not have, but like Peter said...'such as I have give I you.' I believe now more than ever we have what is needed the most. We need not be afraid to share it.

    1. Very good. May God give us the courage to speak out boldly about the Kingdom of God.
