Breaking News

As many of you are personally aware, jobs are getting tougher to come by lately. Jeremiah Gonda, our part time youth pastor, has good news and bad news. The good news is that after months of barely getting by, he’s found a job and situation that will be a tremendous blessing to his family. The bad news is that it’s in Charlotte, North Carolina. We told the youth last night that he’ll be leaving at the end of the month. He’s done a wonderful job with our young people, and hates leaving almost as much as we hate seeing him go.

Wondering who will fill his shoes? Well, after a five year hiatus, it looks like I’ll be getting back into youth ministry. I’m actually excited, and slowly beginning to get back into that mind set. We’ll see if I can still keep up. Youth ministry has changed a bit in five years, and there is one downside. It looks like I may no longer be able to avoid being on Facebook.
