Solemn Assembly Update

I want to thank everyone who participated Saturday, in the day of prayer and fasting called by the Elders. The Solemn Assembly was also a great success. Many of you participated in that as well. It was exciting to see God's people give of their time to pray for our country. We are experiencing a very serious time as a nation, but I believe we can bring about a great change through prayer. As important as personal prayer is, it is going to take the church gathering together corporately to bring about a change in the spiritual climate of our nation. As a church we have a number of different times throughout the week where people can gather at the church to pray. Most of us have very busy schedules, but it is important for us to ask God how He would have us respond to the seriousness of the day in which we live. I would encourage you, if at all possible, to adjust your schedule so you can participate in one of our corporate prayer times. Again, thanks for your support and keep praying. Our prayer opportunities are listed below:

Tuesday 7am to 9am
Wednesday 12noon to 1pm
Thursday 7am to 9am
2nd and 4th Thursday 7pm-8pm
Sunday 7am to 9:45am

Do not forget our House Churches that meet around our community on either Wednesday evening or Thursday evening. You can find more information about our House Churches either on our website or in the church foyer. In addition, we have a Men's Meeting on the 1st and 3rd Saturday at 9am, and a Women's Meeting on the 2nd Thursday at 7pm (check the bulletin for location).
