Certainly each of these characteristics are important for any church.
One of our major focuses as a church that helps us develop each of the above characteristics, is our House Churches. Our House Churches will be resuming this week from their winter break. House Churches are small groups that meet the 1st and 3rd week of each month. Each group is unique and reflects the people who make up the group. If you are not part of a House Church group, let me ask you to consider committing yourself to a group this year. There is something significant that takes place when we gather together as the church on Sunday mornings, but there is an altogether a different dynamic that takes place when we gather together in smaller groups.
Our House Churches are a place where you can meet new people and build lasting relationships, open God’s Word and look deeper into what was discussed during the Sunday sermon, pray for one another, and learn to identify and move in your spiritual gifting. If you would like to talk to someone about our House Churches, please call the church office. In the foyer we have a pamphlet that describes each of our groups. You can also click on the link below which will take you to our website where we also have information posted concerning each of the groups. Please feel free to call any of the House Church leaders to get more information about their groups.
