Back to School

I’m back in the classroom Monday. I enjoyed a little rest over the summer, but I have to say I’m excited about getting back to teaching. I look forward to both the opportunity to help my students learn math as well as the ministry opportunities that are sure to present themselves. In contrast, I’m fairly certain that none of my students are excited about school starting back up, particularly math.

I wonder if it’s like that with God. Does He get excited about all of the life experiences He’s taking us through, knowing that we’re learning, and that He is getting opportunities to minister to us? It’s pretty clear many of my students don’t really grasp the value of their current learning experience. Are we similarly ignorant?

You should give that some thought. Consider it homework.
