Saturday, the team went to a small indigenous village about 45 minutes outside the capital. It is called El Rejón. When we arrived there were a couple of hundred little kids in their seats awaiting us. We, along with the host ministry, put on our best show. Many of these people have been so isolated, they didn't know how to react to some of our presentation. Interesting but, pretty common in Guatemala. You don't have to travel very far out of the city to be in a fairly primitive culture. After lunch and "siesta", we made a quick shopping trip to Central Market and topped the evening off reflecting on our week's experiences at the Pan American Hotel. It was good to hear the individual team members' impressions - just serves to remind me of God's multi-faceted nature.
The team seems happy and healthy - thanks so much for your prayers!
