God Exists

As you examine the Bible from cover to cover, it always assumes the existence of God. The Bible never attempts to prove that God exists. From the perspective of the writers of the Bible, inspired by the Holy Spirit, they found it unnecessary to prove that God exists. Any rational person should understand that there is a God. If you look at a watch, it is obvious to any rational observer that there must be a watchmaker. Whenever we see design there must be a designer. When we look at the incredible intricacies of the world in which we live, from the smallest particle to the largest celestial objects, we see design written all over creation. There is no doubt that the world in which we live did not come into being by accident or through some process of evolution.

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse" (Rom 1:20).

The hand print of a Creator is written all over creation. As the Psalmist wrote ...

"The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains,
The world, and those who dwell in it.
For He has founded it upon the seas
And established it upon the rivers" (Psa 24:1-2)

In the book of Job God finally speaks to Job and says ...

4 Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?
Tell Me, if you have understanding,
5 Who set its measurements? Since you know.
Or who stretched the line on it?
6 “On what were its bases sunk?
Or who laid its cornerstone,
7 When the morning stars sang together
And all the sons of God shouted for joy? (Job 38:4-7)

Okay, I get it! God's design is written all over creation and what arrogance of man to challenge the existence of a sovereign God. His ways and His thoughts are definitely higher than my ways and my thoughts.

God is the great I AM. GOD IS!
