Be COOL!

That term can have several different connotations, everything from being cool in the way you dress to being cool in the way you act. This week at COTRM, however, the term has taken on a much different meaning.

As many already know, last Wednesday someone stole three of our outside A/C units. When I learned about the loss my first impression was that God had a silver-lining in this storm cloud. I am very thankful for the many blessings of God. He has certainly showered favor upon us as a church time and time again.

We are currently working with several A/C contractors and our insurance company to resolve how we can move ahead and get new air conditioning units installed to replace the stolen ones. Please be praying with us for favor with the contractors bidding on the job as well as with the insurance company. Also, please take some time to ask God how you might be able to help out. Whether you consider yourself to be rich or poor, God may lead you to help out with the cost for new A/C units.

I want to thank those who have already given towards this need. My prayer is that God would bless you for your generosity.

Remember Paul’s instructions to the believers in the church at Thessalonika-

“Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thess 5:16-18).

So in the middle of our current situation, I am rejoicing in the goodness of God , praying for His provision, and thanking Him for His love and care.

Have a wonderful God-filled week!

  1. It was our first visit and my husband and I observed that the a/c situation only put feet to the sermon from Philippians 4 to content in all situations. See you next Sunday.

  2. Sheryl, thank you for visiting with us Sunday. God has been very faithful to us over the years and I am confident He is going to provide for our current air conditioner need. God is good! See you this Sunday.
